IREM Members and Industry Partners have an opportunity to increase your visibility among your peers and potential clients through sharing your time and talents volunteering with IREM Dallas. Our volunteers are leaders who are passionate about IREM, the property management profession and in supporting the industry and community we serve. IREM provides members and partners many opportunities to get involved that are personally and professionally beneficial while creating chance to collaborate with peers in efforts that moves the profession and IREM forward. Community Outreach
VP: Holli Biggerstaff, CPM
Committee Chair: Letina Walls, CPM
Be a part of the helping hand of IREM and take our Chapter’s community service to the next level. Plan events, secure resources and acquire staffing for projects that benefit our community and charities. Committee plans 4-5 events per year.

Educational Programs
VP: Joe Zylka, CPM
The Education Committee plans all Chapter seminars, offers suggestions on venues, books presenters/facilitators based on topics that fit our member needs. They research and seek out presenters who offer applicable knowledge and information targeted to the Real Estate Industry. The Committee surveys members to find the most pressing issues and timely educational needs of members in the industry. Determines the luncheon programs seeking knowledgeable speakers in Real Estate realm. Communicates speakers AV needs, additional guests, obtains PowerPoints, communicates information to the IREM Office such as description of presentation, bio and photos for advertising purposes. Introduces speakers at events and sends thank you notes. Helps to coordinate happy hour events and property tours.

Fashion Show Committee

The Fashion Show committee is the newest committee to IREM Dallas. Starting its 4th year, this committee is continuing to make an impact developing and producing what has become one of IREM Dallas’ premier events, the Annual IREM Dallas Fashion Show. The Fashion Show Committee is behind bringing all that magic to life and the event benefits “Dress for Success Dallas”, helping to provide professional clothing for those in need. Committee members assist with event visioning, production planning, vendor selection, obtaining sponsorships, model selection, etc. – everything that goes into bringing the event together and executed in fashionable style. In addition to committee members, other volunteers will also assist and participate in event set up, event staffing, etc. and we all work together where needed to ensure Fashion Show success.

Golf Tournament

Be a part of the planning, coordination, promotion, and execution of this annual event including recruitment of players, sponsors and volunteer the day of. The Golf Tournament is the most successful fundraiser in IREM Dallas and has sustained for well over 26 years.

Industry Partners

Committee Chair: Amanda Eller, CPM
This committee needs your efforts to work with and strengthen relations with industry suppliers by soliciting select vendors and serving them as an account representative during the year. Setting up a schedule for each Partner to run their article in the Newsletter and engaging them to write inspirational and informational articles that serve the membership. Soliciting sponsorship opportunities and creating an advertising and involvement plan for each Partner interested in participating as a volunteer.

Membership
VP: Will Lawson, CPM Candidate
Be part of the team who explore and implement the opportunities for more membership benefits as well as recruit and retain membership and participation in the organization. CPM members participate in the process to qualify applicants for candidacy and reviews their qualifications for the coveted CPM designation. The CPM members on the committee sign off on the qualifications. VP or Chair (CPM) communicates directly to IREM HQ. The Committee contacts all new members, helps plan and theme luncheons, set up greeters, holds Candidate orientations and can help assign mentors for Candidates upon request. The Committee helps to recruit volunteers for other committees.

Student & College Outreach/IREM Case Competition

Committee Chair: Stephanie Howard, CPM
This committee plays an active role in shaping the future of real estate property management by connecting with high schools, community colleges, and universities to inspire students to pursue careers in the industry. Members represent IREM through presentations, student engagement, and organizing events like property tours and networking opportunities, while also leading the planning and execution of the IREM Dallas College Case Competition. This includes coordinating logistics, securing judges, coaches, properties, sponsors, and managing marketing efforts. Open to IREM members and industry partners, the committee requires monthly meetings (with virtual options) and offers a meaningful opportunity to support and mentor the next generation of real estate professionals.
